The view from the window by my desk isn’t exactly inspiring, so I added a dragon.
For improvement hell.

Super boring sketch of my “workplace.” It’s boring and inaccurate (in terms of perspective) and uuugh. Desk contains: 2 monitors, tablet pen/pen stand, keyboard, Razer Naga Hex (MOBA mouse, i.e. it has 6 extra buttons), coffee cup, 1 of my 2 speakers...

Desk contains: 2 monitors, tablet pen/pen stand, keyboard, Razer Naga Hex (MOBA mouse, i.e. it has 6 extra buttons), coffee cup, 1 of my 2 speakers and a PS3 controller that you can barely see (for emulators and my PS3 which is hooked up to the bigger monitor). The shelf underneath the desk has my tablet and an A5 sketchbook. The computer itself is off to the left on a separate table (because for some reason I didn’t want to put it on the floor, laziness probably idk). The left screen has a sketch of the WoW login screen, the right screen has a sketch of the WaniKani kanji review interface.

For r/SketchDaily’s prompt today (hobbies/workplace), but I think I’ll try to do something else instead.

Head studies; working through Drawing the Head & Hands by Andrew Loomis, kinda taking a break from digital art until I get my fundamentals in order I guess.
The bottom left head in the top left image accidentally ended up looking like one of TuxedoDemon’s characters, haha.

WoW character sketches and a Spiderman for r/SketchDaily.

My humans are so bad holy crap. All were drawn from references.
Okay so. Current goal: learn to draw humans, especially faces but also just human bodies. I’m thinking doing an hour of gesture drawings + some amount of time I don’t know yet of facial...

Okay so. Current goal: learn to draw humans, especially faces but also just human bodies. I’m thinking doing an hour of gesture drawings + some amount of time I don’t know yet of facial studies every day, in addition to improvement hell (which I need to get back on, oops) and r/SketchDaily.

Facial structure (skull/muscle) -> face -> expressions/emotions -> painting skin, something like that? We’ll see I guess.

Rat, fox and panda are drawn from references. The other two are (attempted) sketches of one of my WoW characters.

Redid it. This looks like an actual pagoda. Time to colour it I guess.

Hmmmmmm.

Hmmmmmm.

Two-point perspective sketch.
Gonna be loosely based off of the Kiyomizudera pagoda in Kyoto, I think -> http://kyoto.asanoxn.com/places/higashiyama_mid/kiyomizu/pagoda-kiyomizudera-snow.jpg
