3.5 important things I learnt during my exam today

Writing it down here lest I forget.

1. Rhetoric is important, talk about it and go more in-depth. Ethos, pathos, logos and kairos.

2. Expressions, LEARN THEM. The two-step hypothesis and the diffusion theory are extremely important for the work I do, but there are others as well.

3. Keep going with ideas that sound fucking stupid at the beginning and merely outlandish and morally dubious when they’re fleshed out, because if I can defend them well, I always get good grades (ex. making an election campaign for the Labour Party by using Soviet propaganda imagery; drafting a designer bottled carbonated water named Sparkling Stalin that has flavours based on historically important Soviet characters [Marx Mango, Lenin Lemon, etc.]).

3.5. I don’t care, winging it works, because it seems natural to the teachers. Notes/keywords are immensely important, though too many make the presentation seem stilted. If I don’t have something the audience can look at (i.e. my media product), then use a simple PowerPoint/Keynote.

Forgot to upload this. It’s all I’ve done this week, so yeahp.

(Click the images to see the info, but basically I made the top one by tracing the second one, and it was inspired by the third one. It’s schoolwork by the way, so yeah.)

今は、学校がつまんないですよ! でも、このタスクのテムが好きです。
School is fucking boring, but I kinda liked the theme for this thing. Now I just gotta fit the Amnesty International logo in there somewhere. Maybe the campaign slogan too.

Now I just need to 1. find white clipart of an oak tree or something and 2. change the colours because this is just fucking ugly.

But yeah, I’m alive.
And CS6 is like graphic design porn it’s soooo goooooood

Images 4 and 5 are pretty good examples of how I take notes actually. Loads of crossed out things and stuff.

EDIT: Now rotated in a semi-sensible way.

Uhm. 2-minute logo designs. Teacher liked them, lol.
