Mmyes. See, I’m tired of going “oh, I can’t learn Japanese, that’s weeabooish,” “oh, I can’t go back to drawing dogs, that’s stupid and juvenile,” “oh, I can’t make a dog comic, that’s even more fucking stupid,” “oh, I can’t draw my original species, I have to redesign them first, and I don’t have enough skills or motivation to do that” et cetera ad nauseam.

Basically, fuck that. I’m going to learn Japanese, it’s not like I’m gonna start yelling “かはいいです！！！” or “すごい” or whatever while speaking Norwegian/English. Fuck, I don’t even watch anime, nor do I read manga. I just find the language bloody fun to learn.

Also I’m gonna draw whatever the fuck I want because fuck, at this rate I don’t even give a shit anymore. Drawing is fun, and I’ve mostly accepted that I’m never gonna do it professionally, so why should I give a shit? I mean yeah, obviously I want to get better at it etc., but the perfectionism I’ve had up until now is just bloody insane, I just want to draw, dammit, not get the correct answer in maths or something.
