Bleh. I need to do backgrounds.
- Shadows are too warm (compared to the base colour) and too light. Ha

Uuuh I wanted to keep it within one hour and so I did.
- I need to learn blending better (lowering the brush opacity would probably help urgh).
- I’m not good at lighting/light sources.
- Some shadows (namely under his mask) are too heavy.
- I kinda like the line quality on the lines around the eyes.
- I’m not fast enough for half-decent 1-hour speedpaints, so I need to either get faster or up it to 2 hours.
A Batman speedpaint(ish) thing in progress. Time so far: ~15min.
I did a colour thing! Heavily inspired by purplekecleon of course, haha. I couldn’t figure out how to keep the lines on the same layer without them getting blurry (as I used them to blend in the darkest/reddest shade of purple), so uh I have to look into that I guess.

I don’t emphasise shadows enough. Also I messed up the left pupil urgh. And I forgot to colour the tail wow oops.
I’m better at sketching faces/expressions when I do it really quickly. Hmmmm.
The day has only 24 hours, and I can’t sleep for 8 and then study for 16. So I guess what I’m saying is, I need to play more games/etc.

So I was (am?) bored in Multimedia class and started doodling. Sort of looked like Rachel’s Sirius (though it doesn’t anymore except for the colours lmfao I suck), so I just went with it. Soooooo yeah. First digital drawing I’ve made in ages, maaan.
