This dude is a native Axellidian from, well, Axellidus (the capital of which is basically the drug capital of Eléntra, etc. etc.). He doesn’t have a name yet, but I’m thinking something along the lines of Roak, Roc, Hari, Hal, Eko/Eco or Ravi. Or something starting with Hr-, I dunno. Maybe Hravi. Hmm.
This character’s name is Jimmy (Tzhimmi in Shakshaian) until I say otherwise.
/reference to GoodFellas/WiseGuy, Robert DeNiro and the teamsters, hurrhurrhurr I am so clever.
Oh, and they’re kind of dachs-y. I’ll work out the colours/markings later, after I’ve done the pre-timeshift version.
This is a zhtaukmars*. It’s sort of the equivalent of a dog? It’s a common pet in the Chimean States (the most technologically advanced culture/nation in my conworld). This one here is the post-timeshift one; I’ll post up a pre-timeshift version in a bit.
*Name will be changed; it sounds too Germanic for my tastes (the “language” it’s from, Shakshaian, is meant to be sort of Maltese (Semitic [ie. Arabic]/Romance [ie. Italian])/Latvian (Slavic [ie. Polish and Serbo-Croatian and Russian and such])/Finnish-sounding).

Also this is hands down the worst character design I’ve ever made. I’ve wanted to redesign this guy since I drew him, never got around to it.
Oh my god what was I thinking.
The character’s named Respàtu and he doesn’t deserve to be neglected as much as he is. The reason for that, however, is that I’ve never been able to design him right. He just. Looks off, I dunno. That up there ^ is his current design and the one he’s had since I created him, but uhhh… Nope. I’m even considering making him bipedal at this point because why the fuck not.
Ehh. I need to pull together a moodboard for this guy.
