8. Find 2-3 objects, make a scene with them. Draw it. Bonus points for creativity. Double points for dramatic lighting.
No bonus points for me! I was gonna use this as an exercise on using spot blacks (as I really wanna learn traditional inking; I have brush pens and everything), but ehhh. Eeeehhhh.
The objects are: my camera charger, my Japanese grammar reference book (which uses roumaji which annoys the hell out of me but it’s literally pocket-sized so), and one of my mala bracelets (which has the incorrect number of beads, but oh well).
Colour experiment 1/?.
I don’t emphasise shadows enough. Also I messed up the left pupil urgh. And I forgot to colour the tail wow oops.
Man I just don’t wanna work on this anymore. Not sure which colour combo to go for; it’s supposed to be an akita/coyote hybrid, but I really like the dark main colour/white top colour kinda thing. Hmm.

I was gonna do this neato Chinese zodiac rabbit thing but spent too much time figuring out the anatomy. Oh well.
