Which fucking retard come up with the idea of making us, first year students, create three posters (originally six, I only get to make three because I luckily found someone to work with) with impossible themes? And making us make these things in a week?
My media teachers, that’s who.
It’s a completely unrealistic job situation; if a graphic designer were to be asked by a client to make
- Six/three posters.
- With themes that have to be interpreted and put into the posters in such a way that you can look at one of them and say “Ah! That’s x theme!”
- Also, the posters not only have to have themes, but they need a theme/elements that make them look similar.
- In a week.
What would that designer do? He’d laugh the client all the way out of the office, that’s what.
I love my school, but c'mon. This is ridiculous.
